Story Submission
Thank you for your bravery, strength, resilience, and joy. You are so much more than your experiences with sexual harm, and your time at Oberlin will not be defined by it. Against all odds, you have survived. We are here to support you, celebrate you, and uplift you, on your terms.
Guidelines for submission:
These contributions will be published on Surviving Oberlin as part of a digital library of survivor stories.
Specific names may be omitted or given a pseudonym for anonymity.
Topics include but are not limited to: sexual violence experienced on campus, Title IX processes, the aftermath of sexual harm, social dynamics, disclosure.
We welcome all sharing, and encourage contributors to consider how their words might help other survivors and allies.
We recognize sharing is incredibly vulnerable and you may want some extra support:
