Peer Support Program
SOSHA’s Peer Support Program is intended to connect survivors and allies with individualized resources for their specific stories and needs.
-
SOSHA Peer Liaisons can walk through informational resources on coping skills and other trauma-specific experiences.
They can also help you set up appointments with the Nord Center's Confidential Advocate.
-
SOSHA's Title IX Support Liaison can provide resources and stories from fellow students regarding their experiences with Oberlin Title IX. They can also, upon request, work with the Nord Confidential Advocate to support you during a Title IX process as a peer advocate.
-
Disclaimer: SOSHA Peer Liaisons are student organizers and are not legal experts or mental health professionals. They serve as connectors to print resources and provide communication with counselors in addition to other forms of support.
